Product Description

• Better tolerated than amoxicillin/clavulanate with a lower incidence of gastrointestinal side effects , in treatment of acute otitis media in children.
• Exhibits 96.5% cure rate and is better tolerated than erythromycin in the treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis
• Results in marked reduction in cytokine levels and exhibits anti-inflammatory effect thus beneficial in cystic fibrosis lung disease
• Modulate IL-8 levels and neutrophil accumulation thereby reduces neutrophilic inflammation, in asthma.

• Adult: 250-500 mg bid depending upon severity of infection
